One More Step

True love and need for one another can make us do things that a normal person would not even imagine doing. What would you do to find the person you love who maybe far away from you? Many women and men have their partners off being soldiers in a foreieign land such as Iraq or Afganistan. I could only imagine what goes on in their mind about the one they love....

Here is a poem I have written about what I would do and Im sure many would do the same.

ONE MORE STEP
----------------------------

I look upon the valley,
Perched high above on a hill,
I search for warmth and compfort,
I need to make a kill,
My stomache aches from hunger,
my throat is feeling the thirst,
My needs are getting much stronger,
Snows comming down like a curse,

In The Arms Of A Loved One

Being in the arms of a loved one is definetly worth writing about and feeling. To be loved and held, wanted and needed is something we all need to have in our lives each day. Do you have someone that holds and loves you? I hope so, but dont worry if you dont because they will soon come into your life. Thats how true love works, you cant hunt it down it has a tendency to find you when you least expect it!

IN THE ARMS OF A LOVED ONE

In the arms of a Loved One,
With all my attempts that met with failure your still by my side,
You look at me with eyes that see a strong man filled with pride,
Yet I am weak, without you I would easily turn to dust and blow away,
You keep our conversations going when I have no words to say,

Just One Day With You

If I only had one day with you has been thought and said by many people. Really if you had one day with the person you loved what would you want to do or share. Maybe you would go somewhere together or maybe you would sit home and relax. I wrote this poem that reflects what I would want, what I was thinking, and what I would do with the onde day I had with my love.

JUST ONE DAY WITH YOU
I could be mad that all I have is one day,
I could be greedy but wind up having the one day taken away,
Instead I have to feel blessed by the moment thats shared,

How hard is it to keep in touch with friends and family? Most people, mostly men have a hard time keeping friendships and relationships together when they get older. I dont know why that is but it happens all the time.

I wrote a poem which reflects that and I hope you enjoy it..

It starts Like This
=====================
Keep In Touch
Your not alone,
Your in my thoughts and on my mind,
Youll always be my friend,
Youll never be left behind,
You can talk to me whenever you need a listening ear,

Lifes Novel

In a moment of space and time you exhist,

Soon you'll become a reflection of the past in someones thoughtful mind,

For a few seconds or minutes they will journey through the memories back to a once forgotten past,

Recall times of laughter and wonderful pictures from the subconcious vault your kept within,
